Alloys are metallic substances
composed of a mixture or a metallic solid solution of two or more metals. Some
of their uses consist of transportation (Al), construction (Al), ductility
(Cu), aircraft turbine engines (Ni), and high corrosion resistance (Cu). The
properties of alloys can change. The hardness of steel formed from carbon and
iron can depend on the amount of carbon added and the processing it underwent.
